Amy Frost

Amy is a MSc student who has focused her research on the use of tracking tunnels as method of monitoring frog populations.  She has tested the validity and safety of special ink and tracking tunnels used for frogs and has developed a key for the identification of New Zealand frogs based on their footprints.  This technique will allow for a low cost tool for monitoring the presence and absence of frogs with little disturbance to the animals and the habitat.
